A board of Directors has been appointed for Statistics Greenland. Formerly an Advisory Statistical Committee was set up. The Board of Directors has the overall responsibility for the activities of Statistics Greenland. The board approves the long-term plans and the annual working plan. The Board of Directors oversees that Statistics Greenland carries out its work according to the provisions and discusses plans for improvements of existing and start-up of new statistics. Organizationally, Statistics Greenland refers to the Cabinet's Secretariat of the Home Rule Government of Greenland.

As per October 8^th 2009 the Board of Directors of Statistics Greenland has the following members:

• Vøgg Løwe Nielsen, Head of Department at the National Agriculture and Fisheries Economic Institute
• Henrik Leth, Manager of The Employers` Association in Greenland
• Lisbeth Møller Jensen, Head of Department at the Tax Agency
• Chirstel Lund Jæger-Hansen, Head of Departement at the Ministery of Industry and Labour marked
• Karl Davidsen, Deputy Head, KANUKOKA

 Management and Working Plan

 The daily management of Statistics Greenland is taken care by the chief statistician. He also represents Statistics Greenland publicly.

 The Plan of Work for Statistics Greenland stipulates the demands for statistics which are to be met within the framework of the appropriation made available by the Finance Act for the year in question.

The results of the statistical surveys are published by Statistics Greenland in a number of interdisciplinary and subject-oriented publications. In addition, external users may request that specific studies be carried out by Statistics Greenland.

 It is also possible to have specific studies carried out by the service section of Statistics Greenland, or to obtain supplementary statistical information. In supplying such information statistical registers are used which ensure the complete anonymity of the persons and enterprises forming part of the statistical information.
