After takeover of the housing statistics, Statistics Greenland did a basic count based on different administrative housing registers. The data concerning increasing number of housing over the recent years have been collected by sending questionnaires to technical departments in different municipalities. This information forms the basic source in relation to the available data. All information concerning the houses are to be found on the so called b-numbers, which is a reference number to the issued building permit. The quality of the info regarding the b-numbers however, varies, which will be evident in the publications.
