The development of the state of the market usually is illustrated in the national balance. In these publications a series of indicators for the state of the market are presented, whose aim is to give a picture of the economic development of the time concerned. The publications are now published every quarter throughout the year, whereas they were published twice a year previously. The economic situation normally is evaluated through the growth of the BNP, which is added up in fixed prices from year to year. A precise definition of a so-called ECONOMIC BOOM is non-existent, but as a rule of thumb an economic boom is understood as being a longer period of time with growth in the BNP on over 2-3 %.
