Statistics over public elections is not yet under the auspices of the Statistics Greenland working plan. We therefore kindly refer any concrete enquiries to the High Commissioner for Denmark in Greenland in matters concerning elections to the Danish Parliament, elections in the Faroe Islands, municipal elections in Denmark and elections to the European Parliament. In regards to elections for Parliament and municipal elections in Greenland we kindly refer to the Greenland Home Rule, Department of the Interior.

According to Departemental Order no. 255 of April 28th 1999 re. Law on Elections to the Danish Parliament in Greenland, all elections to the Danish Parliament as well as referenda initiated by the Danish Parliament, as well as postal ballots to the Faroe Islands, municipal elections in Denmark and elections to the European Parliament are managed by the High Commissioner for Denmark to Greenland.
The High Commissioner in Greenland is an institution under the Danish Prime Ministers Office and the representative to the Danish Realm in Greenland.
In regards to elections to the Danish Parliament, the High Commissioner carry a total Election Book consisting of all important information re. the election and the results, as they were reported by the Municipal Election Committees.
