The purpose of these publications is to give a brief and precise picture of the Greenlandic foreign trade for the time or year in question. The foreign trade statistics decsribes in a detailed level of goods Greenlands trade with foreign nations. The statistics which form the basis for the publications, are prepared using international guidelines re. grouping of goods.
The publications contain temporary and final figures for Greenland’s foreign trade throughout time. Alle values have been cited in continuos prices for the period in question.
Collection of statistical information re. foreign trade is conducted by the Home Rule Customs Department placed in Aalborg, Denmark, except for a few pieces of information.
The publication has been divided into two groups: Foreign Trade and Exports. Please note that temporary figures for Exports also is included Foreign Trade.
