Atassut

Atassut is a liberal political movement. The party was founded in 1978. The goal of the party is solidarity with Denmark in the context of the commonwealth.

Demokraterne

Demokraterne is a social liberal party in the middle of Greenlandic politics. The party was founded in 2002. The party nominated candidates for national elections for the first time in 2005.

Inuit Ataqatigiit (IA)

IA is a Greenlandic left-wing independence party working for the Greenlanders' demands for recognition as an independent people with the right to the land.

Kattusseqatigiit Partiiat

Kattusseqatigiit Partiiat was officially formed on 6 October 2005 and nominated candidates for the national elections in 2005 for the first time.

Siumut

Siumut was founded in 1977 as a continuation of the Siumut movement which had gained political significance since the early 1970s. Its political objective is to create a homogeneous, active and viable society whose population is conscious of its responsibility as a people.
