Defence

The Defense department is under the Danish state. Under the law of government of Greenland is cited as one of the areas that autonomy does not have the option to purchase. Greenland Command is subject to Defense Command, and the head of Greenland Command is directly under the defense chief. Service Locations in Greenland subject head of Greenland Command: Station Nord, sledge patrol Sirius headquartered in Daneborg, Defence Guard Mestersvig, Air Group West in Kangerlussuaq (Sdr. Strømfjord) and finally Logistics Center Greenland, located at Air Station Aalborg. Greenland Command also has a connector located at Thule Air Base.
