Statistics Greenland offers Statistical Yearbook in English. The Statistical Yearbook has lots of useful statistics and information about the Greenlandic society. The Statistical Yearbook 2010 and 2011 are not printed and can therefore only be found on this website. We also aim to translate all content of our free databank - the StatBank - and update tables in parallel

The total population count is over the next decades projected to decline from todays 55,860 persons to 52-53.000 in 2040.

2017 Overnight stays 1st quarter

Overnight stays in 1st quarter of 2017
There is an increase of 14.7 pct. in number of nights compared with the same period in 2016. It is primarily guests of Greenlandic nationality who have stayed at hotels in Q1. There is a significantly higher proportion of overnight stays by foreign guests in Qeqqata Kommunia than in the other regions, in the Q1 of 2017.
